Grace Fa’avesi is a visionary leader, mentor, and woman of faith who serves as Co-Founder, President, and Executive Director of Epic Bloom Foundation. Guided by her faith in Jesus Christ, she is passionate about helping young people discover their identity, find their voice, and walk boldly in their purpose.

Through leadership development, mentorship, and community engagement, Grace is committed to empowering the next generation to lead with confidence, compassion, and purpose. 

She holds an Associate's in music,  a Bachelor's in Communication studies from Sacramento State, and a Masters in Teaching from the University of San Francisco, drawing on her education and experiences to further enrich her service to youth and the community.

Vice President & Leadership Mentor

Leading by example with faith, integrity, and purpose.

John Fa’avesi serves as Vice President and Leadership Mentor, bringing a heart for service and a commitment to empowering the next generation. 

As a Site Lead across multiple high school campuses, he works directly with students, providing mentorship, encouragement, and guidance as they develop confidence, character, and leadership skills.

Grounded in his faith in Jesus Christ, John is passionate about building meaningful relationships, strengthening communities, and helping young people recognize their God-given potential. As a positive male role model, he strives to inspire young men and women alike to lead with integrity, resilience, compassion, and purpose.

Treasurer & Lead Facilitator

Leading with heart, consistency, and deep connection 

Bernee Latu has been a cornerstone of Epic Bloom Foundation since its founding, serving as a trusted leader and dedicated partner in bringing its vision to life.

As a Lead Facilitator, she works closely with students across grade levels, with a special passion for nurturing middle school youth as they begin their leadership journey.

Holding a Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Bernee brings a deeper understanding of people, relationships, and communities to her work. 

Known for her caring spirit and ability to build meaningful connections, she creates safe, empowering spaces where students feel seen, supported, and inspired to grow.

Her commitment extends beyond the classroom as she actively engages with families and the community to strengthen the impact of Epic Bloom's mission.

Co-founded Epic Bloom in response to a community need - creating a space where young people feel seen, heard, and valued. That foundation continues to guide the work and those entrusted to carry it forward.

Her approach is disciplined and steady, developing leaders who think clearly, act with intention, and lift others. 

Guided by a commitment to steward leadership with conviction and excellence, she holds a Bachelor of Communications from the University of Phoenix and a Master of Science in Law (Business Law) from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law. Her leadership has also been recognized by the California State Senate.

She continues to build trust and steady leadership in high-stakes rooms, guided by her faith.
